An inconspicuous tollbooth, its operator barely even noticed by the people who drive through and pay their money in an endless stream of cars.  But he notices them.  In their brief interaction, he imagines their lives, what they are driving towards.  The short films that follow could be his imagination, or they could be the truth, but each one explores a different facet of love.
